Solution Overview
Silicon oxide (SiO) precursor silicon-based anode material is an important branch of silicon-based anodes that combines capacity and stability. Its core logic is to utilize the volume expansion (about 200%) of SiO (theoretical specific capacity ~1500 mAh/g, about 4 times that of graphite), which is lower than that of pure silicon (300%). SiO is used as a precursor to composite with carbon materials, and further solve the contradiction of "high capacity, high expansion, low cycle" of silicon-based materials through the buffering effect and structural regulation of the carbon matrix. Compared to nano silicon carbon, its advantage lies in the lower difficulty of raw material preparation and easier control of volume expansion. The production line is designed around "preparation/purification of silicon oxide, carbon composite, modification, and structure stabilization".
